and spinning, with the first presidential debate now history, the verdict is in. a string of pundits agree, and so do observers and undecided voters we polled according to wolf blitzer's sources. so does president obama himself even. mitt romney had a very good night last night and president obama did not. here's the headline in denver, where the debate was held and where this morning the hometown paper scores it round one, romney. the left-leaning slate.com's john dickerson calling it the best moment of mitt romney's campaign. obama supporter andrew sullivan calls it the president's worst public performance bar none of his campaign.
